his hotel location was perfect!! It's smack dab in the middle of everything you want. The oh do famous Bourbon St for all those who are down there to party. The other side takes you to the beautiful St. Louis cathedral, Jackson Square ( literally my most fav area every time i come to the quarter). The famous cafe du monde is right across the street. That is an everyday stop for us. Who says ni to beignets and coffee when you are in Nola? The hotel itself holds that classy Victorian era decor. If the walls and chandeliers could speak, lol. The bedroom was a decent size. Clean. Beds wee comfortable. But the best part of the room was our city view balcony. We could see everything and relax in the evening. For spring. MAN, it was Sooooo HOT. There is a pool are but it's enclosed in the middle of the court yard, so I'm not sure how much sun it actually gets since it literally closes in by 4 walls and 7 levels high. But the heat and humidity during the day were a bit too much for me to be walking around outside. Best time to venture out in that kind of heat morning/early after noon or after 5 or 6. The evenings are beautiful with a light breeze if you want to relax on the balcony and watch the madness on Bourbon. This was probably our first visit where the crowd wasn't all super crazy and jam-packed. Everyone who worked there was super helpful and friendly. No real complaints, except for the one time i called down to ask for water, and it never came. I got lucky and ran into the room service people in the hallway a few hours later, and they helped us. This will probably be one of the hotels we will frequently pick if they have the city view balcony room available. It's actually the only reason we had booked it for this trip. It was the only hotel that still had that room available. Thank you guys so much for another amazing trip in the quarter.

We stayed in a room with two queen beds, both of which were very comfortable, along with good pillows and bedding. The room also had a lovely balcony at the back of the property, which was perfect for airflow when we kept the door open. It overlooked a small side street off Bourbon, so the people-watching was fun from the balcony. It was shared with two other rooms and came with a cute bistro table and chairs, making it a pleasant spot to sit outside. Inside the room, there were only a couple of ottomans or stools for seating—an actual chair would have been a nice addition. The TV worked well, and while I didn’t use the in-room coffee maker (since the front desk rattled off instructions so fast it made me wonder if there’d be an extra charge), they do offer free coffee downstairs each morning. As some other reviewers mentioned, the shower water pressure is a bit low, but it worked just fine for us. I think some people are just extremely picky and tend to complain over minor issues. The bathroom was quite spacious and functioned well overall. My only real complaint was that the mini-fridge didn’t cool very well, and there was no microwave, which would’ve been convenient. Aside from that, it was a nice stay. We didn’t get a chance to eat at the restaurant or visit the bar, so I can’t comment on those.

We were here for less than 24 hours, so wanted to make the most of our limited time. Bourbon Orleans Hotel was the perfect choice! Only steps from Jackson Square, Cafe Du Monde and the Mississippi River. On the corner of Bourbon and Orleans Streets. Close to the craziness of Bourbon St., but yet quiet and relaxing. The staff were exceptional. The valet (Deshawn) treated us with a smile upon arrival and was even kind enough to deliver my husband’s wallet and phone to the front desk after he inadvertently left them behind. We had a balcony room that overlooked the beautiful pool/interior courtyard. Once we were finished exploring the neighborhood, we enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful bar and listening to incredibly talented bands. Anna, the bar supervisor was great to chat with, as was Taz, who manned the bar in the early afternoon. Alas, we weren’t visited by any of the ghosts that are rumored to live here. But maybe next time? We can’t wait to come back for a longer visit.

This was my second stay at the Bourbon Orleans, and it won’t be my last! The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of the French Quarter, yet still feels like a peaceful retreat from the bustle. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the overall atmosphere is charming and welcoming. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything we needed. From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again!

I was given an upgrade to a first floor suite with staircase. It was magnificent! Very special. I am happy I upgraded. As a soli traveller, I enjoyed the Bourbon O Bar and jazz entertainment without having to leave the hotel premises for later in the night. The hotel lobby is magnificent, and the breakfast restaurant stays open until Noon. In New Orleans it makes sense to have those brunch hours. The staff were so hospitable
